The Fusing Creativity Introduction to Social Media for business – Are you ready? workshop will give you an understanding of the impact social media can have on your business – both good and bad – as well as giving you an introduction to the depth of social media and why it is so important to understand. Along with these tools, there will also be an opportunity to start discussing how to implement a social media strategy for your business.
This workshop is aimed at beginners wanting to make that first step or those who have tried to take that first step into using social media but are unsure how to use it effectively. This workshop looks at how to set your business up to be successful with social media – it does not tell you what tactics to use.

The day will be led by Jeni Cantle, the owner of Fusing Creativity, who has over 10 years of working with digital media, during which she has worked on strategies for the likes of Samsung, Panasonic, Plantronics, Fujitsu-Siemens and other smaller business in various industries including Property, Leisure and Software.

The workshop will run from 10am until 1pm – the centre will be available from 9.15am for coffee and networking to meet with your fellow attendees. The workshop will be fairly interactive and you are encouraged to bring your laptops to explore the areas as we discuss them. There is free wifi available and tea and coffee making facilities. We operate a very informal workshop session, so casual dress is welcome.
